Welcome to Walk for Mental Health Awareness – Houston
The Walk Houston 2017 is all about a Step in the Lime Light taking Mental Illness center stage. We look forward to seeing you at our seventh annual The Walk for Mental Health Awareness – Houston. We raised over $130,000 for Greater Houston area non-profit agencies. We appreciate the fact that walk teams, exhibitors, sponsors, and volunteers choose to come together and help create a positive awareness of mental illness. On Saturday, October 7, 2017 we will gather at Stude Park – 1031 Stude St., Houston, Texas 77007.
Hundreds have contributed to organizations offering mental health services and support. You can too by registering individually or as a group. If you have any questions, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Our Mission Statement
The Walk for Mental Health Awareness – Houston is a community based event that helps raise awareness and funding for Greater Houston area non-profit agencies and programs that provide mental health services; creating an environment for our positive public dialog.

Registration at 7:00 A.M.
Walk starts at 8:00 A.M.
Mental Health Expo and door prizes start at 9:30 A.M.
Finished by 11 A.M.
Our Vision Statement
Everyday living can feel like a death sentence for those suffering with a mental illness. The physical, mental and emotional suffering takes the joy out of life, and has the potential to have life-long problems if left untreated. There is help and there is hope, but you can only receive help by asking. The Walk for Mental Health Awareness–Houston is a celebration of the hope of life after mental illness and a call to action by people in our community.
