2018 Walk for Mental Health Awareness Houston 5K Walk & Mental Health Expo @ Stude Park

The Walk for Mental Health Awareness- Houston celebration culminates with our annual family and pet-friendly 5K walk and mental health expo on October 13th. Houstonians will have the opportunity to learn about mental health and its affects on the local community by interacting with non-profit mental health organizations in the Greater Houston area. Participates could find information on where help is given and/or what one self could do in efforts to help the community. 

Fee: $25.00

12 years of age & up

***OFF-SITE PARKING day of the 5K walk at Lucky’s Pub located at 2520 Houston Avenue at White Oak, there will be shuttles driving walkers from off-site location to Stude Park.***

Time: Walk Opens: 6:30AM

MH EXPO Begins: 8:30AM

Houstonians will have the opportunity to learn about mental health and its affects on the local community by participating in our annual Changing Minds/Changing Lives – Positive Public Dialogue and joining our annual luncheon on October 11th at TBD. Luncheon emcee is TBD. With special guest speaker Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.
