{"id":135,"date":"2016-04-15T21:31:11","date_gmt":"2016-04-16T02:31:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.thehoustonwalk.org\/home\/?page_id=135"},"modified":"2022-09-16T14:19:40","modified_gmt":"2022-09-16T19:19:40","slug":"walk-agencies","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.thehoustonwalk.org\/home\/walk-agencies\/","title":{"rendered":"Walk Agencies"},"content":{"rendered":"<body><p style=\"text-align: left;\"><div class=\"one_half\">\n<hr \/>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center; color: #79c143; padding-left: 44px;\">Become a Walk Agency<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">In order to become a Walk Agency for the 2023 The Walk Houston 5K Walk, agencies must meet the following requirements:<\/p>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">1) be a 501.c-3.<\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">2) be housed in the greater Houston area.<\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">3) offer mental health services and\/or support to your clients.<\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">4) promote your agencies participation in The Walk Houston via ALL of your social media networks.<\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\"><em>And if possible\u00a0BUT NOT REQUIRED \u2013 put together your agency\u2019 walk team.<\/em><\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">The fundraising is Done By The Registered Walkers who would select your agency to go out and get people to sponsor them to participate in the walk.<\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">90% of the funds that each walker raises is sent to the Walk Agency\u00a0that they selected at registration.
